How excursions from Puerto del Rosario work
Puerto del Rosario has the airport and the port, but few excursions start here. Boat trips leave from Corralejo in the north, and many jeep and coach tours collect guests from hotels in the resorts. If you stay in the capital, first check whether a tour offers pickup in town. A published offer for a hotel pickup does not always cover Puerto del Rosario.

The snorkel programme is shorter than the whole trip. The operator describes about 10 minutes of coastal sailing and about 25 minutes of snorkelling, with the island block from 13:20 to 14:20. Weather can change or cancel the trip. For the jeep safari, the product page mentions hotel pickup but does not show pickup in Puerto del Rosario, and the price carries no 2026 date. Do not assume a transfer from the capital.

Isla de Lobos: ferry only or a package
The ferry only suits walkers who want the trail to the lighthouse and time on a small beach. The package with snorkelling suits people who want to swim in the sea. Both leave from Corralejo, 20 minutes by boat. Read the Isla de Lobos page for the permit and the timetable.
Jeep and coach tours
These cover long distances and rough roads, such as the track to Cofete. A driver and guide mean no parking and no navigation. The price in the table does not include lunch. Pickup points vary, so ask before you book.
Cruise passengers
The port operator lists one berth and 500 m to the town centre, without a shuttle. A shore excursion must fit your ship's departure time, and the operator lists no tender handling, so check that your ship can berth. See the cruise port page.

The same operator can list several products with different starts. Check that the date, the product and the place match. A public price shows what the product costs, not whether seats are free on your day.
Weather and cancellation
Boat trips can change or be cancelled for weather. One operator lists free cancellation up to 24 hours before the snorkel trip. For other tours, read the terms before you pay.
Access needs
The Lobos ferry operator takes only folding wheelchairs, and passengers must manage a few steps when boarding. A fully step-free trip to the island is not promised.
What to bring
The island has little shade and no shops. Pack food, water, sun protection and sturdy shoes.
